I heard about the recent "European Reunion" of the University of Michigan Business School in Wien on the UMBS website. I lived in Wien from 1990-93 where I worked for IBM-Austria and Ottmar Hill and attended meetings of the "Management Club." I remember attending many lovely receptions and many elegant buffets at various banks throughout Wien. I think at the time I was the only Michigan MBA alum (MBA '79) in the city. Your description of activities and photos brought back fond memories of Wien- as did the other parts of your site. I certainly miss Christmas season in Wien with the lovely" Kristkindlmaerkte. " My German is getting a bit rusty, but I was pretty good at my time there. My husband goes back to Wien from time to time (he worked at IIASA while we were there) and my son has gone back to visit old classmates in the Gymnasium (I sent him and my daughter to Austrian schools) but I have not returned since 1993. Should I return, I will defintely look you up. If you come to the Washington DC area, please look me up.
